Ob Hospitalist Group was founded on the vision and commitment that every expectant mother presenting to labor and delivery would receive consistent, unconditional, quality medical care from an experienced clinician. Today, we are the largest and only dedicated OB/GYN hospitalist employer in the nation. Our singular focus on obstetric hospitalist programs gives us unparalleled insight to deliver differentiated performance and results.

What We Do

Our dedicated OB/GYN clinicians are in the hospital 24/7 to ensure consistent, timely care for every pregnant woman presenting to the labor and delivery unit or obstetric emergency department. Their presence reduces delays in emergent OB/GYN care, improves outcomes, reduces wait times and increases patient satisfaction compared to traditional triage models. We also offer full-scope roles in underserved communities, including OB/GYN clinic coverage and 24/7 emergency labor and delivery services. OBHG hospitalists offer collaborative, non-competitive support for private-practice physicians.

Why We’re Different

Our singular focus in OB hospitalist medicine has allowed us to develop deep knowledge and experience within the OB hospitalist space, including clinical data sets, OB/GYN hospitalist specific training, and processes for ensuring compliance to national, evidence-based protocols. Across our national network, our hospital partners see better patient outcomes, reduced malpractice liability and better overall customer experience.
